Social media wreaks havoc in marriages
In recent years, social media has become very popular as there are many benefits of using it, such as interaction, networking and recreation. But on the other hand it has been cited as one of the main reasons for the rising cases of divorce globally.

The above headlines and introductions from different publications reflect the damage that has been done by whatsapp to marriages. Of course marriages break because people are cheating in marriages but whatsapp has helped expose all the unfaithfulness in marriages. More so, the social media has helped users re-unite with their old lovers thus ruining the existing relationships.

Don’t you think if whatsapp is ruining your marriage both of you should do away with it and stick to the ‘old’ way of communicating? Yes whatsapp is cheap, instant and has got all sorts of advantages but if your partner is causing havoc in your home then ban your partner from using it instead of committing a crime. Like l said before, domestic violence has got more far reaching consequences that will also affect your children. l am very much particular when it comes to the development of children, imagine you cheat...you are then caught on whatsapp...you divorce.... what will happen of your children.

There is certainly nothing wrong about using whatsapp but abusing it is what is wrong.
What then is abusing whatsapp? Perhaps we need to discuss

Having noted what whatsapp has done to marriages what do you think should be done? Let’s discuss this one as well.
